I’ve been asked to complete the questionnaire by 2 or more people; what should I do?

This depends on the timing and circumstances

1. How long was it since you last completed a WSABI® questionnaire?

The results and reports are only valid for up to 3 months. So if the timing is close to, or longer than 3 months, then there is no reason for you not to complete the questionnaire again.

2. Who is asking you to complete the questionnaire?

a) If this is for an internal assessment within your own company: If you previously completed the questionnaire less than 3 months ago and your circumstances have not changed, inform the people that you have already completed the questionnaire and let them know from whom they can obtain copies of the original reports. If however your circumstances have changed or you have been on a training or coaching course, they may want to see how this has affected your views and approach to work. In such cases you should complete the questionnaire again so comparisons can be made.

b) If the different people are working closely together in the same company (e.g. a recruitment firm): So long as the results are still valid, tell them who originally asked you to complete the questionnaire and ask them if they can obtain copies of the original reports.

c) If the different people are not connected you need to know the purpose.

3. What purpose are the reports to be used for?

If the reports are to be used for different purposes then generally there should be no problem.

If the reports are being used for the same purpose then you need to control how and by whom your information and data is being used. One common example of this is when two different recruiters are trying to represent you to the same employer. Ensure this doesn’t happen and insist they obtain your permission prior to each and every occasion that they intend to present you as a candidate for any opportunity.
